Vivian Arinaitwe
Vivian leads Che Innovations from Kampala. A Ugandan biomedical engineer trained through the Duke-Makerere fellowship, she has spent years on the wards where NeoNest is used. Refining it side-by-side with the nurses, midwives and OBGYNs who care for Uganda's most vulnerable newborns.
Under her leadership, the company has grown from a summer project into a Ugandan private-limited company with its own manufacturing facility in Kamwokya, three first-place global awards, and a growing team of Ugandan professionals.
